Andrea Chenier ROH 22-23 Season (12A TBC)

Andrea Chenier ROH 22-23 Season

Cast: Jonas Kaufmann, Sondra Radvanovsky, Carlos Álvarez

Conductor: Antonio Pappano | Director: David McVicar

Sung in Italian with English subtitles

Jonas Kaufmann headlines David McVicar’s spectacular staging, under the baton of long-time collaborator Antonio Pappano – who conducts Giordano’s epic historical drama of revolution and forbidden love in his last production as Music Director of The Royal Opera.

Sadly, Carlos Álvarez has withdrawn from all performances of Andrea Chénier. To accommodate the revised stage schedule, the cinema capture will now be filmed on 05 June 2024, and the role of Carlo Gérard will be performed by Amartuvshin Enkhbat on this date.

Andrea Chénier will still be broadcast via satellite at 7.15pm on 11th June 2024 as previously advised.

GHOST: RITE HERE RITE NOW (15)

GHOST: RITE HERE RITE NOW

Shot over the course of GHOST’s two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ hallowed Kia Forum, RITE HERE RITE NOW is so much more than a concert movie. GHOST’s first ever feature film combines mesmerizing live performances with a narrative story arc that picks up plot threads from the band’s long-running webisode series.

The result is an utterly unique phantasmagorical blend: Flesh and bone renditions of favorites from all five of GHOST’s albums as well as the RIAA platinum-certified “Mary On A Cross” and more are interwoven with the silver screen debuts of a few faces familiar to the band’s legions of fans. Whether you’re a devoted disciple looking to relive treasured memories of the GHOST live spectacle or among the curious uninitiated, RITE HERE RITE NOW will put you right there: putting your phones down and living in the moment—completely spellbound and in the thrall of this bombastic yet intimate cinematic portrait of GHOST.

Cast: GHOST, Maralyn Facey, Alan Ursillo, Ashley McBride, Kevin "Jesus" Kaufmann
